Students used to struggling for a seat at a Badger bowl game are finding a surplus of tickets.
The past two years, students tickets sold out in less than twenty minutes. This year, they were still available hours later, and now the sale is open to the public.
"I had two windows open, two different browsers, and both got in within two minutes of each other so I was really surprised how quickly I got in, that I got tickets," said Senior Nicole Velez, who will caravan to California to attend her third straight Rose Bowl game.
The soft sales are likely due to students questioning the quality of the team, and that the novelty of the game in Pasadena is fading. Dozens of Craigslist ads are offering tickets for much less markup than usual.
Additional sections go on sale through Ticketmaster on Tuesday morning.
