Sun Prairie Police Arrest Man For Alleged 4th OWI

Information from the Sun Prairie Police Department:

At approximately 1:00 am on Sunday, November 18th, a Sun Prairie Officer observed a vehicle driving in excess of the speed limit on W. Main St. near Flint St.

The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver who was identified as Gaston D. Heredia. Heredia, age 31 of Waterloo, was subsequently arrested for OWI-4th Offense.

Because this offense occurred within 5 years of a third OWI conviction, the resulting charge is a felony. He was booked into the Dane County Jail on the felony OWI charge as well as being cited for speeding.
