On Friday evening at about 5:09 p.m. the Cuba City Police Department was called to reports that a truck had crashed into a house. It happened on the 300-block of North Main Street in Cuba City, which is in Grant County.

Cuba City Police say a 16-year-old man drove a 1997 Dodge Ram truck on State Highway 80 when he veered across the centerline. He then went over the curb on the east side of the roadway and struck the porch of a vacant residence on Main Street.

The truck received significant front-end damage. The driver of the truck was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for treatment by the rescue squad. The truck was towed from the scene.

The owner of the vacant residence was contacted and a crash report was completed. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
