NBC15 spoke with MG&E about this morning's gas leak on Fish Hatchery Road.
According to the company, a contractor hit a gas line while working this morning, causing the leak.
The leak has since been repaired. MG&E is now visiting area residents and businesses to restore their gas service.

Both lanes of Fish Hatchery Road are now open.

Southbound Fish Hatchery Rd is open. Northbound is closed from McKee (PD) to Post Rd.

Fish Hatchery Rd. is closed in both directions north of PD due to a gas leak.
