Press Release from the City of Madison:

O.J. Boldt Construction will be removing a tower crane in the 100 block of N. Mills Street at the Charter Street Heating Plant. This will result in the closure of the 100 block of N. Mills Street between W. Dayton Street and north of the Southwest Commuter Bike Path, beginning Monday, February 4th. The work is tentatively scheduled to be completed by Friday, February 8th.

Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on N. Mills Street, while motor vehicle access will not be permitted during this closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use different routes to avoid delay during this project. Contact Madison Metro regarding bus route detours during this closure.
