JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- A Wisconsin Boy Scouts troop is producing a lot of Eagle Scouts -- 20 in the past six years.
The Janesville Gazette reports the number is impressive because typically only 4 percent of scouts get their Eagle Scout badge. In Janesville, twice as many do.
Boy Scouts District Executive Director Andy Olsen says Troop 539 is "unusual" and "significant."
The troop has had 83 boys earn their Eagle Scout badge since 1964.
It recognized four new Eagle Scouts during a Sunday ceremony.
