A woman from Arizona is walking from the Pacific Ocean to Georgia and bringing gifts for kids with illnesses along the way.
Stacie Eichinger began her trip in Washington in May and passed through Dodgeville Thursday afternoon, already logging more than 2,700 miles.
Eichinger is stopping at hospitals to meet children with cancer and other illnesses to support the Beads of Courage campaign, where children earn a bead for enduring shots, radiation and other treatments. She is handing out thousands of shoe-shaped beads symbolizing her journey.
