Two women charged with the May 15th assault of an Adams County bartender have pleaded not guilty.

Crystal Kylloe, 41, of Arkdale; and Christine Pritzl, 42, of Nekoosa; both stood mute Friday morning in court. A judge entered the not guilty pleas on their behalf.

The two women were arrested and charged after prosecutors say Brandy Madison, 28, was left unconscious. The incident happened in May at Dave's Escape bar in Big Flats.

Both women are free on a $7,500 signature bonds and will return to court March 19.

A doctor at the UW Madison Hospital where Madison was taken, says she was born with heart defect that may have been triggered by the stress of the altercation. He says CPR performed Dave's Escape saved her life, and he believes she will lead a normal life.
