As many as 36,000 Americans die every year of complications from influenza and more than 200,000 are hospitalized.

We continue our flu watch segment with more on how you can protect yourself from getting sick.

Who Should Get Vaccinated?
People at high risk for complications
-Children ages 6 months until their 5th birthday
-Pregnant women
-People 50 years and older
-People with chronic medical conditions
-People who live in nursing homes
-People who live or care for those at high risk for complications from the flu
