It's the moment we've all been waiting for - the Biggest Loser finale for our LOCAL contestants.
They slaved in the gym for 12 weeks and lost more than 500 pounds combined.
Here is a look at the team, individual and runner-up winners ... as well as words of inspiration from the trainers and coaches who motivated them.
"Fitness Together Fitchburg lost a total of 79.2 pounds."
"Capital Fitness a total of 113.2 pounds."
"Healthy Inspirations lost a total of 140.2 pounds."
"Finally, Fitness together-Middleton 179.5 pounds."
Congrats to all members of Fitness Together Middleton, the *team* winner for Madison's Biggest Loser, 2007.
This year, the individual totals were so close, we also honor the runner-up, Lydia Stricker, who lost 65 pounds!
Stricker says, "This is the hardest thing I've ever done for my health but it's been the most worthwhile. This way we all know that we've developed habits over the last three months that will last the rest of our lives if we let them.."
"Lydia I'm sorry for the torture that I put you through, but it's good you guys all did phenomenal so I want to thank you all."
Now we move to the person who lost the largest percentage of weight.
"No better reason in the entire world to get a completely new lease on life than being able to have your kids see what you did and then do the same thing for the rest of their lives. We're all so very proud of you."
This season's Madison's Biggest Loser is Michael Anthony of Fitness together Middleton.
66.6 pounds, that is 23.7 of Michael Anthony's weight.
"I ate right - I resisted all kinds of temptations, like no drinking, no snacks," says Anthony.
"I knew I could do the training, I knew it would be hard but the hardest part was the food."
"My wife and my kids were a huge inspiration - I wanted to be around for the long-haul."
Michael was particularly grateful for the patience and support from his wife. But his trainer, and all the professionals who helped our contestants - are what made this transformation possible.
Cory Sims of Fitness Together Fitchburg says, "4 days a week to have your butt kicked in the gym is very difficult no matter who you are, so another big round of applause for coming back and sticking with it."
Dennis Kotnour of Healthy Inspirations says, "It takes a lot when you have children and when you have a busy work schedule and when you've got all these different things going on to carve out time."
Tish Lafferty from Meriter says, "You are amazing men and women for the amount of dedication you showed to me, you've changed my life and I thank you so much for that."
