Promising news in the fight against diabetes. A new study shows the number of men with undiagnosed cases is dropping.
During the late 70's, nearly half of American male diabetics were not aware they had the disease.
That rate dropped to 22% between 1999 and 2002.
The study did not include diabetic women, but the trend is believed to be the same.
20.8 million Americans have diabetes, mostly type two.
