Bowl to Support Colorectal Cancer Research

MADISON – Bowlers from across Wisconsin will strike to benefit colon cancer research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center’s eleventh annual Bowlin’ for Colons on Sunday, March 4.

The event will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at four participating bowling centers in Madison. More than 1,000 people have signed up for the event, which is an annual fundraiser for colon cancer research.

Colorectal cancer is the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States with more than 140,000 new cases last year alone. Since the start of Bowlin’ for Colons 11 years ago, the event has raised more than $190,000 for colon cancer research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center.

Register or donate online at www.uwhealth.org/bowlin, or come support the cause by visiting any of the participating bowling alleys listed below beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
