Possible Norovirus Outbreak at Madison School

Information from Principal of Jefferson Middle School:

Health officials are investigating a possible norovirus outbreak at Jefferson Middle School in Madison.

NBC15 has learned, there were about 50 students out sick earlier in the week. Nearly 15 teachers have reported having symptoms of the illness.

Staff at the school have been thoroughly cleaning the building since students started getting sick.
