MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Unused prescription drugs can be dropped off at specified locations across Wisconsin on Saturday.
The state is participation in the National Prescription Drug "Take Back" Day.
Anyone with unwanted, expired or unused prescription drugs can drop them off at participating sites between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A list of participating locations can be found at www.dea.gov .
Wisconsin residents dropped off 23 tons of drugs at 180 sites during the last "Take Back" day in April. Last year, both drop-off days resulted in more than 30 tons of prescription drugs being handed over.
