Expect Delays Around Epic Systems Today & Thursday

Release from Verona Police Department:

The Verona Police Department is reporting traffic delays on the morning of Wednesday, September 12, 2012 and the morning of Thursday, September 13, 2012, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

The affected areas include the westbound lanes of US Hwy 18-151 between Epic Lane & Locust Dr. and westbound CTH PD between Nine Mound Rd and CTH M.

Motorists traveling in these areas should stay alert, be prepared to stop and expect delays.

The traffic congestion is a result of Epic System’s annual User Group Meeting which will conclude on Thursday afternoon.

Try living in Madison where they randomly close roads and cut off traffic paths from one side of the city to the other for bike rides, run walks or whatever other "event" they have going on. At least Epic is generating $$$ for the city of Verona on a daily basis.

This EPIC company drives MOST people in Verona nuts with all their traffic. It makes it VERY difficult for any of the Verona residents to LEAVE Verona to get to work. Police need to tend to some of the residents needs TOO in getting out of town.
