Fitchburg police are holding a public meeting Thursday about a sex offender who's moving in.
43-year-old Frank B. Davis was convicted back in 1989 for 1st Degree Sexual Assault (Using a Dangerous Weapon). He was also convicted of armed burglary, theft and some other charges.
After more than 20 years in prison, he's expected to move into Fitchburg on July 9. Police say he'll be living on the 2000-block of Pike Drive. He'll be on electronic monitoring and will face several restrictions. That includes no unsupervised contact with minors.
A public meeting hosted by Fitchburg police is set for this Thursday.
It will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Christian Fellowship Church, that's on Fish Hatchery Road.
