MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The four-day Wisconsin Science Festival kicks off Thursday with more than 150 events planned around the state.
The festival is based at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery building on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus with numerous locations all around the city.
But presentations, workshops, film, lectures and other events are planned in cities all over the state through Sunday.
Participating sites include children's museums in Eagle River, Milwaukee, La Crosse and Eau Claire, UW-Fond du Lac, and the Pewaukee Public Library.
This is the second year of the festival.
