Hawthorne Library is now back open.

The Hawthorne Library located at 2707 E Washington Avenue will be open regular hours - 9 am - 5 pm - on Saturday, January 19. The library was closed unexpectedly on Friday, January 18, due to water maintenance issues.

Customers are encouraged to call the Hawthorne Library at 246-4548 with any questions related to library items, including holds, overdues, or regular checkouts.

Many thanks to all the library staff and other helpers who worked hard to get the library ready for business!

The library will announce a reopening time for the Hawthorne Library on the City of Madison news release system, as well as its own web site, Facebook and Twitter.
