The latest phase of a construction project at the Mineral Point Road and Junction Road intersection has been pushed back to Thursday, March 20th.
It was set to begin Wednesday, but was delayed by a day due to the weather forecast.
The March 20th start date also depends on the weather.

The latest phase of a construction project at the Mineral Point Road and Junction Road intersection is set to begin March 19th.
According to the City of Madison, traffic on both roadways will be shifted to one side of the roadway while construction activities occur on the other. Eastbound and Westbound drivers on Mineral Point Road will utilize the south side of the roadway while construction occurs on the north side. Northbound and Southbound drivers on Junction Road/S Junction Road will use the lanes on the west side of the roadway while construction occurs on the east side. The new bridge and jug handle will continue to operate as normal during this phase.
The March 19th start date depends on the weather. The project is scheduled to be complete by August 31st.
All businesses will remain open during the project, and drivers will have access to them.
The City hosts an open meeting for residents, owners and/or businesses to ask questions and raise concerns on the first and third Tuesday of every month.
The meetings are at 2:30 p.m. and are located at the job trailer (South West corner of Mineral Point Road & Junction Road). The first meeting for 2014 will be held March 18th.
