Posted Monday, November 18, 2013 --- 2:44 p.m.

Madison and Dane Co. officials want drivers to know that the Mineral Point Road-Junction Road intersection is partially open, and they want drivers to be aware of new traffic patterns.

Southbound drivers on Junction Road will proceed over Mineral Point Road on the newly constructed bridge.

Southbound Junction Road drivers who want to access Mineral Point Road should use the right-hand lane and exit via the new Jug Handle to turn left and right on Mineral Point Road.

Northbound Junction Road/CTH M drivers will make turning movements the same as before.

East and Westbound Mineral Point drivers will utilize the new jug handle to turn south on Junction Road/CTH M.

All other East and Westbound movements are the same as before.

Construction will be suspended for the winter and start back up in mid- to late March.

The entire roadway project is expected to be completed in August of 2014.
