No Refuse or Recycling Collection in Madison on Memorial Day

No Refuse or Recycling Collection on Monday 5/28, Memorial Day

Yard Waste Sites Also Closed on Monday

There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Monday May 28th because of the Memorial Day holiday. The yard waste drop off sites will also be closed on Monday. Madison residents who normally have their material collected on Monday should place their material out for collection on Tuesday May 29th. Refuse and recycling will also be collected in Tuesday's districts on the 29th.

"Because of the double collection day it is important that residents get their material by 7 a.m. on Tuesday," said Madison Recycling Coordinator George Dreckmann.

The City of Madison yard waste drop off sites will be open the following hours

Saturday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Sunday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Monday Closed

The sites are located at 1501 W. Badger Rd. on the south side, 402 South Point Rd. on the west side and 4602 Sycamore Av. on the east side.
