Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 6.4 million vehicles globally. The company is reporting problems with the engine starter, steering and seats.
No injuries or crashes have been reported related to the recalls, but two fires occurred due to the engine issue.
The recall affects 27 Toyota models, including; the RAV-4 S-U-V, the Yaris Subcompact, the Pontiac Vibe and Subaru Trezia.
Those models were produced between April 2004 and August 2013
