Press Release:

LAKE DELTON, WI, July 16, 2012: Due to the dry weather conditions, the demand for Lake Delton water has increased, although Lake Delton is not experiencing a water shortage at this time. The Lake Delton Water Utility is asking for the cooperation of Village residents with voluntary sprinkling restrictions and outdoor water use.

• The utility recommends not watering between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm due to significant evaporation rates.

• Placement of new sod or yards at this time is not advised. There is no restriction for watering with a hand-held device for gardens, trees, plants, shrubs, etc…

• Please ensure that you are not watering your driveway, sidewalk, or street.

The Lake Delton Water Utility appreciates your cooperation with the voluntary outdoor water use.
