According to the National Weather Service, the Wisconsin River is expected to reach flood stage at Portage (17 feet) on Saturday afternoon (April 12).
Columbia Co. officials expect roads to flood in the lower areas of Blackhawk Park.
West Lane, Lake, Old River Road and the lower end of Blackhawk road in the Blackhawk Park area are flooded at this time.
People who live in low lying areas along the Wisconsin River are encouraged to take appropriate actions and to monitor the river levels for any change. They can monitor the river levels by clicking HERE.

Authorities remind people to not drive through water on a road. As little as 6 inches of moving water can sweep a car off the road.
