UPDATE: 2 Dead, 8 Injured In Crash Between Car, 10 Bikes

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- A second motorcyclist has died in an eastern Wisconsin crash that injured many of the other riders in his group from Michigan.

Fond du Lac County sheriff's officials say 43-year-old Doug Yonkers, of Muskegon, Mich., died at Neenah hospital Thursday. A 25-year-old Hilbert man is accused of crossing the center line on Highway 151 and striking 10 of the 12 motorcyclists who were headed back to Michigan last week.

Fifty-nine-year-old Daniel Lee Winsemius of Twin Lake, Mich., also died in the crash.

The driver of the car, Clinton Lovelace, is facing six charges, including second-degree reckless homicide. Lovelace is due back in court June 15.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- A Hilbert man accused of driving into a group of motorcyclists is out of the hospital and in the Fond du Lac County Jail.

One man died in the crash and three others are still hospitalized in critical condition.

The Fond du Lac Reporter says Monday (http://fondul.ac/Mt5vDo ) that the 25-year-old man faces charges of homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle and felony bail jumping. He has not made his first court appearance.

Officials say his car crossed the center line on Highway 151 Thursday and hit 10 motorcycles.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Capt. Dean Will says the man told police he doesn't remember anything. It could take weeks before police receive results of blood tests.

Fifty-nine-year-old Daniel Lee Winsemius of Twin Lake, Mich., died in the crash.

TOWN OF TAYCHEEDAH, Wis. (AP) -- Investigators in eastern Wisconsin are trying to find out why a car crossed into the path of a dozen motorcycles, killing one person and injuring nine others.

Fond du Lac County sheriff's officials say the crash happened on Highway 151 in the Town of Taycheedah Thursday afternoon. Sheriff's Capt. Dean Will tells WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/McLlgG ) the dozen motorcyclists were on an extended ride and headed back home to Michigan.

Will says the car crossed over the center line and hit ten of the motorcycles. One of the motorcyclists died. Three of the nine bikers hurt were critically injured and airlifted to a Neenah hospital. The rest were taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

The sheriff's department and Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating.
