GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- One person has died in a boating incident on the Bay of Green Bay.
WBAY-TV reports the Brown County Sheriff's Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources were called to the Bayshore County Park boat ramp around 7 p.m. Friday for a report of a boat taking on water. The DNR says the victim had fallen into the water as a result.
The person was pronounced dead at the park. No information about the victim including gender, age, or hometown, was immediately released.
The 17-foot boat didn't sink and was brought back to shore.
The incident remains under investigation.
