Wis. Soldier Killed at Fort Lewis

FORT LEWIS, Wash. (AP) -- A soldier from Wisconsin has died of injuries suffered when he was hit by a vehicle at Fort Lewis.

The U.S. Army identifies the victim as 21-year-old Sgt. Clint Sikorski of Rothschild, Wis.

The Army says Sikorski was attempting to stop traffic at the base last Friday when he was hit by a civilian vehicle driven by another soldier.

The Army says he was directing an Army truck to a nearby small arms range when he was struck and killed.
