SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) -- The mayor of Shawano says she's not riding in the city's Santa Parade on Friday night as the FBI investigation in some implied threats continues.
Mayor Lorna Marquardt says she is one of 60 citizens who was notified by the FBI in early November that they were "potential victims of an implied threat."
Along with skipping the parade, Marquardt says she has had protective bullet proof glass installed on her door and at a reception area in city hall.
The police chief has said a person linked to the Shawano-based Samanta Roy Institute of Science and Technology is responsible for the implied threat.
FBI spokesman Leonard Peace in Milwaukee says no arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
