UPDATE: Body Pulled From River in Fond du Lac

UPDATED Monday, August 3, 2009 --- 2:10 p.m.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- Police say the man whose body was found floating in the Fond du Lac River over the weekend was 55-year-old Jose A. Pulido.

Police Maj. Kevin Lemke says foul play is not suspected. He says an autopsy was in progress Monday morning.

A passer-by spotted the body on Sunday afternoon. Police say it's not clear how long the body was in the water.

Pulido, of Fond du Lac, is the second person whose body was found in the river in recent weeks. Another man was riding his bicycle in the area last month when he lost control and fell in the water, striking his head on rocks.
