WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Investigators say a central Wisconsin farmer has been arrested for target shooting as his farm machinery was being repossessed.
Marathon County Sheriff's Lt. Frank Hanousek says the 39-year-old Wausau area farmer was arrested Wednesday on police charges of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Hanousek says the farmer kept shooting when the repossession man arrived, and the man thought the farmer was firing at him. No one was injured.
Hanousek says the farmer was about 70 yards away from the repossession man when he fired the gunshots.
