Argument Over Wis. Primaries Lands Man in Hospital

Posted: Tuesday, May 8, 2012 --- 5:00p.m.

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- An argument over Wisconsin's recall primaries has landed a Chippewa Falls husband in the hospital.

Chippewa Falls police say 36-year-old Jeffrey A. Radle and 30-year-old Amanda M. Radle argued Tuesday over the ongoing recall primaries.

As Amanda tried to leave, police say Jeffrey stood in front of her vehicle to prevent her from going.

A Chippewa Herald report (http://bit.ly/IXtXFo ) says Amanda repeatedly nudged him with the vehicle but he stood his ground. When she tried to drive around him, he allegedly jumped in front of the vehicle and was struck.

Amanda reported the incident to police. Jeffrey Radle's condition wasn't immediately available.

Both are being referred to the district attorney for possible domestic-related charges.

A man who answered the phone at the Radle home says no one was available to comment.
