MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and his Democratic opponent are locked together in a fiercely fought recall race, but they are campaigning in dramatically different ways.

Walker delivers his message to voters from a safe distance as the June 5th election nears. His campaign limits all public access and holds events at his campaign offices or at businesses where attendees can screened.

Meanwhile, Democrat Tom Barrett makes the rounds of farmers markets, coffee shops and parades. His campaign publicizes events with the hope of attracting as many people as possible. Trailing in the polls, he is hoping to motivate more supporters to vote.

The Wisconsin recall is being watched nationally as a battle over worker rights. The recall effort was launched after Walker scaled back government workers' collective bargaining rights.
