MEQUON, Wis. (AP) -- The safety director at Concordia University in Mequon is okay after the car he was driving suddenly accelerated, flew down a bluff near campus and landed at the edge of Lake Michigan.
Police say the driver was able to get out of the car on his own Monday morning, but was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out.
WISN-TV (http://bit.ly/K5hFPQ ) says the car traveled 200 to 300 feet down the embankment and onto the rocky shoreline.
