WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) -- A Town of Oconomowoc mother is accused of killing her 10-week-old child.
The Waukesha County district attorney's office has charged 32-year-old Dana Hooper with first-degree intentional homicide.
Authorities arrested Hooper Sunday, the day her infant was pronounced dead.
Her husband, 33-year-old Kevin Hooper, is charged with failing to report the death of a child
WTMJ-AM (http://bit.ly/PQJ7nB) reports Dana Hooper is accused of stabbing the couple's 10-week-old daughter to death in their home last Saturday. Prosecutors say Kevin Hooper took his wife to a mental facility and reported her suicidal.
Dana Hooper is being held on $1 million cash bail. She's due back in court Oct. 3. Her husband returns to court Oct. 18.
The couple's other children, ages 2 and 3, are now under the care of a family member.

TOWN OF OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (AP) -- A Town of Oconomowoc couple is in custody following the death of their 10-week-old baby.
The two are expected to appear in court in Waukesha County Tuesday. The 32-year-old mother was arrested Saturday in the death of the infant. The 33-year-old father was taken into custody on Sunday and accused of failing to report the death of the child.
Police were called to the family's home about 6 p.m. Saturday. The Waukesha County medical examiner pronounced the baby dead at the residence.
The Journal Sentinel says the couple's other two children, ages 2 and 3, have been temporarily placed with family members.
