Posted Sunday, June 3, 2012 --- 2:30 p.m.

MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in Manitowoc County say a wrong-way driver slammed head-on into another vehicle, killing two men instantly and injuring two others.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says a 22-year-old Sheboygan man was driving in the wrong lane near Kiel on Saturday night. His car collided with a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Kiel man, who died instantly.

The Sheboygan man and a 67-year-old passenger were injured. A 32-year-old Sheboygan man who was also in the car died.

None of their names has been released.

A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report (http://bit.ly/LWjyeM ) says the Kiel man was the only person in his vehicle.

The coroner's office says it's not immediately known whether drugs or alcohol played a role. The results of drug tests are expected back in one to two months.
