CrimeTracker 15: Home Savings Robbery Similar to String of Other Bank Robberies

Home Savings Bank was robbed in Madison on Friday afternoon. Police say this is similar to several other bank robberies in the area.

On Monday, police released two surveillance photos from the robbery.

Suspect(s):
Male, white, late 20’s, 5’08” 160 lbs wearing a long sleeve blue shirt, black pants, white baseball cap and sunglasses.

Details:
A robber passed a note at the Home Savings Bank at 7701 Mineral Point Rd today just after 1pm indicating that he had a gun. No weapon was seen, the robber demanded and received money and fled in a sliver vehicle described as a Toyota Corolla or similar.

Information from Madison Police Department:

At 1:08p.m. Friday, Madison police responded to Home Savings Bank in the 7700 block of Mineral Point Rd. for a robbery.

Police say, the suspect passed a note to the teller saying he had a weapon and demanding money. No weapon was seen.

The suspect fled the scene in a silver vehicle.

Police say this robbery is similar to several others in the area over the past month.
