MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A woman involved in a wrong-way crash in Milwaukee this week has died of her injuries, bringing the death toll from the collision to three.
The Milwaukee County sheriff's office says 45-year-old Kathlene L. Flessert died Wednesday morning.
The crash happened Monday about 1:20 a.m. on Highway 41. Deputies say a woman was driving south in the northbound lanes, causing a chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles.
The wrong-way driver was identified as 22-year-old Takeya S. Walker. She struck a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Deandre L. Jackson. Both drivers died Monday.
Flessert had been hospitalized in critical condition.
