MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Two dragon fly societies are planning to hold their annual business meetings in northern Wisconsin later this month.
The Dragonfly Society of the Americas and the Wisconsin Dragonfly Society will co-host meetings on June 13, June 14 and June 15 in Ladysmith.
The agenda includes a banquet, silent auction and an opportunity for dragonfly enthusiasts to trade notes. Pre-meeting trips to local habitats at the Beaver Creek Nature Center on the Eau Claire River also are planned for June 11 and 12.
