Flooding Closes A Portion Of Highway 41
Posted Thursday, May 3, 2012 --- 6:15 a.m.
OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- Heavy rain and flooding has closed part of a heavily traveled route in eastern Wisconsin.
Sheriff's officials say Highway 41 is closed in both directions from Highway 26 in Winnebago County to county Highway N in Fond du Lac County. That's a stretch of about six miles. Forecasters say more than 4 inches of rain fell in the area.
Strong thunderstorms are moving across the state and could redevelop later Thursday.
