DEERFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities are looking for a possibly armed man who eluded Jefferson and Dane County deputies. Jefferson County authorities began pursuing a stolen car around midnight today before the chase reached Dane County. Deputies say the driver fled on foot after the car came to a stop, and efforts to track him down were unsuccessful.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Sediment cleanup efforts along the Fox River in Brown County remain stalled until a judge can determine who has to pay for the project. The federal judge ruled yesterday the matter will go to trial in December. The cleanup project could cost more than $1 billion.

REDGRANITE, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a young woman whose body was found under the porch of a Redgranite home. Waushara County sheriff's officials say the owner of the rental house discovered the body yesterday. Authorities say the body is that of a 21-year-old woman who has family in Waushara County.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers will host a half-marathon this fall. The inaugural "Brewers Mini-Marathon" is scheduled for September 22nd. The race will begin at Miller Park and pass through Miller Valley, The Harley-Davidson Museum and The Domes.
