MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office says a 6-year-old boy died yesterday after being hit by a minivan in Milwaukee. Police say the boy was struck Tuesday evening when he darted into traffic. An autopsy will be performed today.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A former director of the National Science Foundation will be at the University of Wisconsin-Madison this afternoon to talk about links between the weather and disease. Rita Colwell will talk about whether human diseases and epidemics are linked to climate, weather and environmental conditions that public health officials don't yet understand.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin agriculture officials are distributing a free guide that details how organic food is produced and labeled at farmer's markets, grocery stores and on-farm stores.
