MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Homes sales in Wisconsin climbed nearly 25 percent in November -- the 17th consecutive month of growth.

The Wisconsin Realtors Association says that while sales continue to rise, the median sale price declined slightly. Wisconsin Realtors chairman David Clark says there's no doubt the state housing market has "seen a real bounce this year."

The November growth in sales compares with the same month last year. Realtors aren't sure what's behind the median price decline of about 2 percent. The median price in Wisconsin is $129,000. Until last month, the median price had risen for eight straight months.

The Journal Sentinel says that before the residential real estate market collapsed six years ago, the median price was about 17 percent higher.
