Investigation Into Tests In Green Bay Is Finished

Posted Monday, April 30, 2012 --- 5:25 p.m.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay School District has wrapped up its investigation into testing irregularities at Eisenhower Elementary, but it's not clear when details will be released.

The school district's attorney told the Green Bay Press-Gazette (http://gbpg.net/KviCSn ) that the investigation is finished. The district also looked into potential disciplinary action.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction tossed out results of a state math test taken by the school's third-, fourth- and fifth-graders. The department said about 200 students were "were exposed to live items prior to testing."

District leaders say live test questions were culled from earlier tests. Then-principal Claudia Orr also believed she had approval to allow staff to preview the current test. Orr has been moved to an administrative job in the district.
