TOMAHAWK, Wis. (AP) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident in Lincoln County.

Authorities say 52-year-old Robert Zempel, of New London, was struck and killed on county Highway S in Tomahawk Sunday about 1 a.m.

The Appleton Post-Crescent says Zempel was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
