MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Police say a Milwaukee police officer was seriously injured when his squad car collided with a minivan.
The officer was alone in his marked squad car when the crash happened about 11 a.m. Monday.
Both the officer and two people in the minivan were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/VYOUMD) reports the 40-year-old officer has 19 years of service.
Police are investigating.
