STURGEON BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Door County officials say remains discovered this weekend by a group of divers near Whitefish Bay could belong to a diver who disappeared in 1999. The remains were found in about 225 feet of water.
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota authorities have released the name of a 9-year-old Wisconsin boy who died this weekend after he was hit by lightning on a Lake Superior beach. Luke Voigt was from Iron River. His 7-year-old brother wasn't injured during Saturday's storm.
DOOR COUNTY, Wis. (AP) -- Door County authorities say an Illinois man has confessed to killing his 21-year-old girlfriend while the couple visited the area for a wedding. The 35-year-old man is from Will County, Illinois and was arrested in Sister Bay.
KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- Kenosha County investigators say the death of a woman whose body was found in a cemetery is suspicious. The body was found yesterday morning in the Bnai-Zedek Cemetery in Somers. Authorities say her death doesn't appear to be from natural causes or a suicide.
