SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- The director of the Teresa McGovern Center in Madison says the late George McGovern's willingness to talk about his daughter's problems is part of his legacy. The former senator and presidential candidate established the treatment center for people with alcoholism and mental illness after his daughter was found dead in a snowdrift in 1994. George McGovern died yesterday in South Dakota at the age of 90.
