MILWAUKEE (AP) -- An explosion and fire at a Milwaukee duplex injured six people, including five firefighters. Last night's explosion happened just after emergency personnel arrived at the scene of a reported gas leak.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A former aide to Governor Scott Walker during his tenure as the Milwaukee County executive is set to appear in court today for a final pre-trial hearing. Timothy Russell has pleaded not guilty to three embezzlement charges. He's accused of stealing more than $21,000 from a nonprofit organization that Walker asked him to lead.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A high ranking federal education official is making a visit to Milwaukee today. Assistant Education Secretary Brenda Dann-Messier heads the Office of Vocational and Adult Education. She'll speak a luncheon today for a literacy group.
MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) -- A memorial service will be held on Saturday for a motorcyclist from West Michigan who died after a car crossed the center line of a Wisconsin highway and hit 10 motorcycles. One person died.
