MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee woman is set to be sentenced today after she was convicted of trying to steal a baby by killing a pregnant woman and slicing out the full-term fetus. Thirty-four-year-old Annette Morales-Rodriguez faces a mandatory life sentence after she convicted on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, although a judge might allow for the possibility of parole.

TOMAH, Wis. (AP) -- A 50-year-old man died last night after a house fire in west-central Wisconsin. Authorities say the man was unconscious in the basement when he was found in Tomah. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- A Janesville man who was arrested yesterday in Rock County is facing his seventh charge for suspicion of drunken driving. The 45-year-old is due in court today after authorities say he crossed the center line and nearly hit a deputy's squad car.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A new exhibition opening tomorrow at the Milwaukee Public Museum examines 18th century piracy. The "Real Pirates" exhibit includes more than 200 artifacts recovered from the ocean floor. It'll run through late May.
