Mother Jailed for Dropping Baby on Concrete

Posted Wednesday, February 13, 2013 --- 11:12 a.m.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman is in jail for dropping her baby on some concrete stairs, then walking away and telling a police officer she no longer wanted the child.

Police say the woman dropped the child, then approached a passing police squad. The 1-year-old girl was taken to a local hospital Tuesday afternoon where she was treated for injuries to her face. Police say the woman was arrested on a possible charge of felony child abuse. She remains in custody. Police say the child remains hospitalized.

    So this woman gets jailed but the idiot who let go of her baby sitting in a wheelchair at 3am isn't charged???

    This is just sick and breaks my heart to read to this! Children are innocent and do not ask to be brought into this world and should NEVER be abused! They are miracles and should be loved and taken care of! The problem is there are too many people out there that do not take care of them! makes me sick!
